Sometimes the most important decisions we make for the animals we love happen in moments of uncertainty.
PetCare Ally began with a dog named Henry.
Henry, a beloved Great Pyrenees, was diagnosed with osteosarcoma. Suddenly, his person was faced with the kinds of decisions many pet owners dread — urgent questions about treatment, quality of life, and what care would truly serve him best.

Laura with Henry, the Great Pyrenees who inspired PetCare Ally
Henry’s person, Laura Strausberg, is a Chief People Officer and startup leader who has spent her career working at the intersection of complex systems and human decision-making. She also cares for a small menagerie of animals — horses, dogs, and cats, many now in their senior years. From emergency situations to the daily realities of aging animals, she has experienced firsthand how difficult it can be to make confident choices for the animals who depend on us.
Those moments revealed a deeper problem. Even the most devoted pet families are often left navigating critical care decisions with fragmented information, conflicting advice, and little clarity about what to do next.
PetCare Ally was founded to change that.
The platform was created to bring clarity to these moments — supporting both catastrophic and everyday care decisions, from urgent health concerns to the ongoing care of aging animals. PetCare Ally helps pet families better understand when to seek veterinary care and how to navigate the decisions that follow.
Because when an animal depends on you, the decisions you make matter.
PetCare Ally exists to help people make those decisions with greater clarity, confidence, and compassion.
